ManyDial Technologies Ltd (“ManyDial,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) creates software that enables businesses to communicate with their customers. When you use our applications, APIs, software, and websites (collectively, the “Services”), you trust us with your information.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share data. By using ManyDial, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide our services, verify your identity for telecom compliance, and improve our platform.

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password, and phone number.
  • Business Verification Data: To comply with local telecommunication regulations and issue Caller IDs, we collect business documentation. This may include your Trade License, National ID (NID), owner's passport-size photo, digital signature, and business seal.
  • Payment Information: We collect billing details and transaction history. We do not store full credit card numbers; transactions are processed by third-party payment gateways.

B. Information Collected via Our APIs & Services

  • Communications Data: When you use our APIs to send or receive communications, we process the data involved. This includes:
    - Call Metadata: Phone numbers (sender and recipient), time of call, duration, and status (e.g., Answered, Failed).
    - Content: Voice recordings, voicemail transcripts, and SMS message bodies (if enabled).
  • Customer Payload Data: Any custom data you pass through our API (e.g., Order IDs, customer names) to verify calls or match records.

C. Usage & Device Information

  • Log Data: We automatically record information created by your use of the Services, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and the referring web page.
  • API Usage: We track API calls, error rates, and volume to ensure system stability and billing accuracy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to run our business and provide the Services. Specifically:

  • Service Delivery: To connect calls, send messages, and render audio via Text-to-Speech (TTS).
  • Identity Verification: To verify your business legitimacy before issuing local DID numbers or Caller IDs, preventing spam and fraud on our network.
  • Billing: To calculate usage-based charges (e.g., per-minute voice credit deduction) and generate invoices.
  • Improvement: To analyze usage trends (e.g., success rates of “Press 1” campaigns) and optimize our routing algorithms.
  • Security: To detect and prevent fraudulent activity, such as robocalling scams or unauthorized access to your API keys.

3. Call Recording & Transcription

ManyDial acts as a Data Processor regarding the content of your communications.

  • Your Responsibility: If you use our “Record” or “Transcribe” features, you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding call recording, including obtaining necessary consent from the parties involved.
  • Storage: We store recordings and transcriptions on secure servers for the duration required by your account settings or applicable law. You may delete these records via the API or dashboard at any time.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Telecommunication Partners: To complete a call or SMS, we must share the recipient's phone number and message content with local carriers, DID providers, and gateway operators.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process (e.g., a request from the BTRC or local law enforcement regarding a specific number).
  • Service Providers: We may share data with third-party vendors who help us operate our business (e.g., cloud hosting providers, payment processors).
  • Business Transfers: If ManyDial is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL protocols.
  • Access Control: Access to your account requires password authentication. API access requires a unique Secret Key.
  • Monitoring: We continuously monitor our systems for potential vulnerabilities and attacks.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your API Keys and passwords confidential.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Services.

  • Call Logs & Recordings: Retained according to your plan's retention policy or until you manually delete them.
  • Verification Docs: Retained as long as you hold a valid Caller ID on our platform to meet regulatory requirements.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You have control over your information:

  • Access & Correction: You can log in to your dashboard to view and update your account information.
  • Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account or specific agent data (e.g., agent/delete API). Note that we may be required to retain certain billing or compliance data by law.
  • Opt-Out: You may opt out of promotional emails, but you will continue to receive transactional messages regarding your account (e.g., low balance alerts).

8. International Data Transfers

ManyDial is headquartered in Bangladesh but serves a global market. Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
